Redemption's Story

Hello friends!

Okay, so several months ago my husband (actually serious boyfriend at the time) and I opened a small little boutique, Redemption, in the heart of Broad Ripple.  We just adore this area of Indianapolis with it’s eccentric energy and all of it’s randomness- if you’re familiar with Broad Ripple you know what I mean…small little restaurants and shops established in older homes that have a twist of trendy findings in nostalgic settings; no cookie-cutter businesses here and we love it!

I grabbed the name “Redemption” out of a Tracy Chapman song and in my own translation it’s all about being happy with “who you are” and what you’re doing with your life at the end of the day…my boutique is my own little Redemption.  In this journey of identifying what else Redemption needed to stand for we decided that we wanted to share our store with others by promoting Independent Designers. So, the Gemini in the both of us decided the store would not only carry well known lines and mainstream trends but unique pieces that are hand-crafted by Indie Designers.

We have found this to be the most fulfilling aspect so far.   We love sharing the story behind the different designers and their pieces with our clients. Our clients love knowing that they are supporting real talent and individual dreams. So our blog is just an extension of our store- a way to keep in touch with our clients and possibly reach a greater audience.

We will be sharing favorite trends, styling tips,  favorite pieces by our favorite Indie Designers, and fun stories from the store... along with anything else we just might fancy.  Please feel free to email us if you have a favorite designer or lovely find that you would like to see featured!
